Simon Tebby - Web Marketing Consultant Tauranga

As a former Wellingtonian, who has recently moved to the warmer (but wetter) Bay of Plenty, changes in lifestyle and career have been common place for me of late. My career history before joining Web Genius has been varied, but all have involved degrees of working with the public and helping people.

I have been a business owner myself and understand the need for effective marketing to maximize your business potential. I worked in Maritime communications prior to my move north, and enjoyed 9 and a half years of helping to organize assistance or rescues for vessels in need within New Zealand's area of responsibility and beyond.

My experience in owning my own business and dealing with the general public, as well as dealing with people in distress, has set me in good stead for the role I am in now as a Marketing Consultant for Web Genius. I love being able to help local people maximize their business potential through the internet.

The Bay of Plenty is one of the fastest growing districts in New Zealand with a lot of locally owned businesses who have been very receptive to marketing their companies on the web. I'm very fortunate to be in a career that gets positive responses on a daily basis with people becoming aware of the financial potential marketing their business this way can bring.

I'm very lucky with the enormous support I get from the amazing (and good looking) administration, design and telemarketing team that is the hub of Web Genius in the Kapiti Coast. With daily contact I don't feel as thought they are far away and any queries from my customers that may pop up can be answered quickly.

My other support network is my family. My wife is a registered nurse here in Tauranga and we have three children. The sunshine and surf have proved to be very popular and two of them are supporting the education system by being enrolled in the local primary and secondary school. I'm fortunate enough to say I love my career choice and I look forward to going to work every day.
